Quick answer: On a Samsung or LG Smart TV, search the TV’s own app store for the exact player confirmed for your REVO4K plan. Install it only if the app is available for your model and country, then follow its activation screen using the access details sent privately. Samsung and LG TVs use different operating systems, so there is no single app path that works on every television.
Which TV information matters before you order?
Write down the brand, model number, software version and country configured on the TV. Check that the TV is online and its app store opens. Ask which player is intended for your plan and whether your chosen term includes the player’s license. A player application is not the same as the content subscription; installing or activating it does not create a channel lineup by itself.
Do this check before purchasing a long term. App listings can differ by model year, operating-system release and location. If the recommended app is missing from your TV’s official store, ask for a compatible alternative, such as a supported external streaming device, instead of trusting a random download link.
How do you check an app on Samsung Smart TV?
- Press Home on the TV remote and open Apps.
- Use Search to enter the exact player name. Confirm the store listing and whether the app can be installed on your TV.
- If available, select Install, open the app and follow its on-screen activation method.
- Enter only the subscription details supplied privately for your confirmed order, then test playback.
Samsung’s official app guide says that only apps available in the TV’s App store can be installed through that route. A phone-app listing does not prove TV compatibility. If an app does not appear, check your TV model and region with support before deciding on another device.
How do you check an app on LG Smart TV?
- Open Home and the TV’s Apps area or content store.
- Search the exact agreed player name. LG provides different instructions for different webOS versions, so follow the menu shown on your own TV.
- Review the app listing before installing. Open it and complete the activation steps displayed by that app.
- Test picture and sound using the access details supplied for your plan.
LG’s official installation guide lets you choose a webOS version. If you are unsure of your TV’s version, use LG’s model-specific instructions or send REVO4K the model number before ordering.
What if the app is not available or activation fails?
Do not force a mobile app onto the TV. Check that you searched the right spelling and that your TV software and region are correct. Contact us with the TV model, webOS or Samsung software version, app name and a screenshot of the store search results. Hide passwords, playlist links, activation codes and payment details.
If an app opens but does not load a subscription, separate app activation from the subscription credentials. Tell support exactly which step fails and any on-screen error. The 12-month Standard and Premium offer includes an IBO Player Pro license as stated on our plans page, but app availability and activation still need confirmation for your TV. A shorter plan does not include that player-license offer.
What should you do next?
Use the setup hub for general steps or ask REVO4K about your TV with the exact model and country. If playback works but pauses, follow our buffering checklist before changing the subscription or device.
